Fatoush Salad

It is pomegranate season now. One of our favorite recipes is Fatoush Salad. More of these delicious recipes you find in our cookbook that will be out soon!



  • 2 big tomatoes
  • 3 small cucumbers
  • 3 radishes
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 spoon sumac
  • ½ spoon salt
  • 2 spoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 pita bread
  • 1 small cup vegetarian oil
  • 1 handful pomegranate seeds


  1. Cut tomatoes and cucumber in cubes, lettuce in squares and radishes in thin slices.
  2. Squeeze lemon, add olive oil, salt and sumac and mix it with vegetables in a big bowl.
  3. Cut pita bread in cubes and fry it in vegetarian oil.
  4. Sprinkle pomegranate seeds over the salad, add crunchy bread cubes to the salad and serve it together.
